Shahnaz Naughton

Associate Professor Shahnaz Naughton is a senior academic and consultant with more 30 years’ experience working across public and private sector organisations. She is the Director of Change, Innovation and Leadership Program at Victoria Graduate School of Business, Victoria University, Melbourne. Shahnaz holds a PhD in Organisational Change Management from UNSW and MSocSc from Birmingham University, UK. While Shahnaz's underlying position has been in academia, she has worked and consulted in industry extensively in Australia as well as internationally where she has led major and complex change and transformation projects with UNDP and with foreign governments. Currently, she is a special advisor and consultant to the Governor and his senior executive team in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. 

Shahnaz has both theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of organisational change management, strategic management, organisational behaviour and leadership development which she leverages while consulting on major projects. Her specific skill set is in Strategic and Transformational Change, Company Turnaround, Culture Change and Leadership Development through workshop and training. She lectures on DBA, MBA and Executive programs and is notably known as a strategic thinker and has an innate ability to develop people.
